AGI Elects New President

The Vice President (LS) of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Nana Owusu-Afari has been elected the new President of the Association for the year 2009 - 2011. The President-Elect takes over from Mr Tony Oteng-Gyasi, who ends his successful two-term tenure as President of the Association. Mr Oteng-Gyasi will formally be handing the mantle of leadership at an investiture ceremony in January 2010.
The electoral process was supervised y the Electoral Commission of Ghana at the 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of AGI, held on Wednesday, 25th November 2009 at the GTFC Main Conference Room, Trade Fair Centre La, Accra. The newly elected executives are:

Vice President (SS) Elect, Joissam Ghana Limited - Mr Samuel A. Appenteng
National Treasurer Elect, Mechanical Lloyd Co. Ltd - Mr Joe Hyde Jr
Executive Member Elect, Lizdon Garments & Fabrics Ltd - Rev. Lincoln Donkor
Executive Member Elect, Winglow Clothes & Textiles - Mrs Awurabena Okrah
